All the opal used in my pieces are synthetically grown, synthetic opals are available in a huge variety of colours, and have more benefits over their original counterparts. Synthetic opals are stronger and more durable, and are designed to minimise waste. These lab-created opals are relatively more affordable then mined ones, there is no special care needed for them, and manmade opals have temperature resistance up to 800 degrees Celsius.
