MY STORY

A small home run business

This Dad Made That was founded in 2020, after the loss of our son Henry in 2017 I turned my hand to an immense amount of design and craft. I started experimenting with resin in May 2020 after I had started to sell masks through Esty.

After a few months I turned my hand to jewellery making and I'd made my first resin inlay ring which contained my sons ashes.

Since sharing my journey through Instagram and Facebook I have been able to create so many special pieces of others that have lost someone so special to them.

Being able to help people create these incredibly personal pieces of jewellery is a real honour and I am so grateful to all those that put their trust in me to do this for them.

I am a full time engineer working for an airline, THIS DAD MADE THAT is run through my spare time. It's just me here, taking, making, packing orders, ordering supplies and answering emails and all the queries.

Sometimes orders are out quicker and sometimes they take that little bit longer. But every order is made with the same passion and love as the last. If you require an item for a specific date please order at least 6 weeks in advance
